Trevor’s experiences of caring

Trevor, Marlene’s husband, has found his feet with caring, with support from the local care team and their two sons. They get support from home carers and the district nurse, and their sons and daughter-in-laws have also been taught how to give Marlene’s feed and medications.

Trevor cares for Marlene 24 hours a day, so their local care team is helping to arrange some respite care. Trevor hopes he can get out for an afternoon’s fishing, his favourite pastime!
