Terry – gravity syringe feeds

Terry and Rose find gravity bolus feeding using a syringe to be the best feeding method for them. Terry has these bolus feeds a few times a day, alongside whatever he feels like eating. He likes the flexibility it has given him to eat as much or as little as he pleases.

His wife, Rose, has become confident in giving the bolus feeds, and uses a bit of water to dilute the feed down to allow it to flow a bit easier through the tube. Terry tells us what it feels like when you are having a feed. There is not too much to feel at all, apparently. But cold liquids can be felt, and belches can lead to mystery tastes appearing!
