Marlene & Trevor

Marlene and Trevor have led a life of fishing – a pastime which has taken them all over Europe, and introduced them to many friends. Married since 1963, their two sons live nearby and visit regularly. They’ve lived in the same house for the past 50 years.
MND/ALS poses a variety of challenges, and Marlene and Trevor find their own ways to fight back! Marlene has always loved to talk – and she now uses her communication ‘Boogie’ board to get her message across. She loves shopping, and her daughter-in-law still takes her out to the local mall. Trevor himself has learned how to do housework, after a life of being looked after by Marlene. His homemade cakes are wonderful!
