Caring for someone with a tube
"From a carer's perspective, Jason having the tube has been a great bonus, because before there was a lot of pressure on him to eat" - Liz
Your local care team will support you as the carer, as well as the person with MND/ALS. Good teamwork will help you both through all aspects of tube feeding – from deciding if it’s the right decision for you to having a feeding tube; through to having it fitted, using it to feed and looking after it.
Rose, Liz and Trevor share some of their thoughts on caring for their partners – both practical help they’ve received and also how they feel about being a carer.
